Bakuchiol Liquid Extract – 100% Natural (Standardized) is extracted from the seeds of the Psoralea corylifo plant native to India and Sri Lanka. Although it is a relatively new ingredient for the skin care industry, Bakuchiol has been a staple in the Chinese and Indian Ayurvedic medicine for centuries.

Bakuchiol is a vegan, all-natural plant extract that possesses some structural similarities to that of resveratrol. Bakuchiol has been compared to retinol because it targets the same skin cells to promote a more even, supple, and healthy-looking complexion. Since it is not a chemical exfoliant, it delivers similar results without causing irritation or photosensitivity, making it an effective natural alternative to retinol.
